Coaching/Classes
Acting sessions consists of On-Camera Film & TV techniques, Improvisation, Scene Work, Monologues, Movement, Relaxation and Audition techniques. Most importantly, Lisa first discusses the actor's goals and evaluates their needs before beginning sessions. As a result, the sessions are structured accordingly and specifically with the student's goals in mind. The one-on-one sessions provide the personalized attention necessary for growth at all levels. The foundation of Lisa's coaching is to bring out the human qualities in each performance in an effort to achieve believability.
Lisa Regina studied at New York University in the School of Educational Theatre, as well as Tisch at New York University. As part of the Educational Theatre Program, Lisa was involved in teaching post-performance workshops to the young audiences. The youth programs at NYU included, "Looking for Shakespeare."
Lisa's training as an actor includes Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute, Tom Noonan/ Film studies, Gary Kingston/ Meisner Technique.
Lisa taught as a drama teacher at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts and also taught independent acting workshops at the Actor's Loft in the Village. She created children's workshops, produced and wrote plays for KAPOW! Kid Actor's Performance Workshops in New York City.
