"Letters to Lisa"
Dear Lisa,
Paris just booked another off-broadway show. Reheasals start in October, Previews in Nov. and the show runs to Jan. 6th. It is called "Trumpery" and is at the Atlantic Theater on 20th. Paris plays Annie Darwin, Charles Darwin's daughter. It is an equity show so they will provide a tutor during rehearsals which will be nice. It has been a very busy summer auditioning and Paris does miss you. You really taught her a lot and I am so grateful for that. You are an excellent acting teacher. I will send you more info on the show when I get it. All the best to you.
Have a wonderful weekend!!
Marie & Paris Yates
Dear Lisa,
Thank you so much for all that you have done in providing Anton an environment in which he feels so comfortable. He has reached a place where he can thrive and enjoy himself. He attended both classes on Sunday and has decided to attend the later session beginning at 3:15pm. He has selected a piece for the monologue. I would appreciate your input regarding his selection. He is now ready to take additional steps in pursuing his love of acting. He and I both benefitted from meeting all of the talented gentlemen you so graciously invited to the class. Anton is excited about the new classes and all that he will learn. Thank you for providing additional information about headshots; we are presently doing research on photographers and resume writing.I will keep you informed via email and I am sure that Anton will share with you his progress. He is very lucky to have such a special acting coach! Ellen Monteleone – Long Island Parent
Dear Lisa,
I just got an audition for the part of The Lone Rider in the short film One Piece of Lead, casting by Donna McKenna, and after searching through Actors Access and NyCasting I couldn't find a submission for it anywhere. Then I went to my old emails and realized that you had sent me an email urging me to submit my pic and resume to Donna, that I would be perfect for it.
Well I guess your hunch paid off, because I will be auditioning tomorrow for it. It's nice to see that you haven't forgotten about me!
Anyway, i just wanted to let you know that I appreciate you helping me out although we haven't spoken lately. Thanks for everything that you continue to do for me. Hope to talk soon. I'll let you know how it goes.
-Jim
